1. Is this a modular? It is common for people to think our homes are site built. I tell people all the time that you can design a site built home to look modular and you can design a modular home to look site built. 2. Can I make changes to the floor plans you have? That is what makes us a custom builder. We want you to use your space as you want. Our designs are there to help you generate ideas for your home. All our designs are well thought out and each one has features that are best for their design. 3. Where can you build? We build in a 10 state area and Canada. Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Montana. 4. Are these homes energy efficient? Yes. These homes are insulated better then most site built homes, R25 in the walls and R-50 are standard in our area. 5. Can you do a "turn key project" so I don't have to do any thing but write checks? Yes. We can and do all the time. Some people want to be more involved on site and save some money, so they take on some of the tasks and that is fine too. 6. What makes you different from other companies? The difference is our referral list and our 3 year warranty, along with are 10 year structural warranty. Anybody that responds to this question by bad mouthing others does not have enough good things to say about themselves. I will be the first person to refer you to someone else if I can't serve you best. 7. How long does this process take? This has a lot to do with where you are building but typically it's 90 days after you tell us to start building before your home is set on the foundation. The decks and garages are built after. 8. Can you make this home handicap accessible? We sure can, this is easy for us to do. 9. Can I tell you how I want it wired? I want a sound system and computer system pre-wired. We can work with your sound contractor or you to make sure you have the wiring you need in the right locations.
